Meet the Green Room Pro's...
Andrew Jeffers, CPGA
VP - Director of Club Fitting
Andrew Jeffers was born in Ottawa, Ontario and completed his schooling in Montreal, Quebec. He has been living in British Columbia since 1990.
Andrew became a professional golfer in 1991 and joined the CPGA as an apprentice professional. After teaching all types of golfers on how to hit it straighter and longer he soon realized that the equipment had a lot to do with the success or failure of the student.
His passion for the game and the improvement potential for golfers turned his focus on the equipment and the science behind it. Andrew could not understand how different levels of golfers and different body types could use the same equipment and produce the same results. After attending the Golfsmith institute for custom fitting he realized that no two people could play the same equipment with the same results!
After opening Jeffersports Custom Golf Equipment in 1993 Andrew and his father Ron have helped thousands of golfers realize their potential.
Andrew then took his equipment for a test drive. He played on the Canadian, Nike, Lone Star State and Desert Tours.
He has kept up with current practices by attending and hosting numerous seminars and courses. He has been creating custom fitted clubs and repairing clubs for the past 17 years. He has seen it, done it and most importantly, knows how to fix it.
Andrew is highly respected in his field of club fitting and recently won the 2007 Club Fitter of the Year Award
Oh not mention that he is married to the greatest woman in the world and has two beautiful children. Yes a family man, but over the years his family understands that for Andrew to sleep at night he must know that the golfers he has come in contact with are realizing their potential.
Play well!
