Matt Carrothers, CPGA
VP - Director of Instruction

In 1990 Matt decided to combine his passion for teaching with his passion for Golf. By 1992 he was working full time at the Arnold Palmer Whistler Golf Club.

When Big Sky Golf and Country Club in Pemberton opened one of BC’s first full fledged Golf Academies, Matt was there. He was promoted to Director of Instruction in 1995.

In 2000, under his direction, Big Sky was selected as the Top Golf Academy in Canada by Golf Ranking Magazine. In 2001 Matt opened an indoor teaching studio in Whistler and since then has been on a mission to provide golfers with a means to increase their enjoyment of the game through continuous improvement.
